Changelog

  1. v0.3.1 · 27 Oct 2026 · latest

The first public release of pingrail: ping and trace many hosts at once, see which hop is hurting, and send your ISP a live link instead of a screenshot.

    What's in it

    • Many targets at once: latency, jitter, packet loss and MOS for every target and every hop on the route, in a terminal UI and a browser.
    • Route reading: it tells real loss apart from routers that only rate-limit replies to themselves.
    • Background service: runs on Windows and Linux, with an HTTPS-only web UI, passkey or password sign-in, and its own certificate authority.
    • Share links: a view-only link for a forum, or one your ISP can add its own tests to.
    • Reports: PDF and PNG for any time range.

Install: pingrail-0.3.1-x64.msi for Windows, or the .deb for Debian, Ubuntu and Raspberry Pi OS (amd64 or arm64). See the README for details.
